The ISL8841AMUZ is a DC-DC switching controller designed by Intersil Corporation. It is a Highly Integrated, Single-Chip DC-DC Controller optimized for use in the voltage regulator and mobile power management markets. This chip is designed to switch voltages up to 5V and provide up to 2A of output current. The integrated circuit can be programmed to provide an adjustable output voltage and power conversion efficiency up to 95%. The chip is available in a very small form factor package and is designed to be low-cost and power-efficient.

The ISL8841AMUZ advanced DC-DC controller operates in two modes. The first mode is a discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) and the second mode is a continuous conduction mode (CCM).
