ISO7240ADWG4 is a digital isolator designed as a complete digital isolation solution for the protection of data and power in digital systems. The device is housed in an industrial-grade package and provides an interface between high-speed digital systems and the conventional industrial I/O. ISO7240ADWG4 offers true galvanic isolation, input protection against transient voltage and surges, and supply voltage rail protection against over-voltage, brownout, and under-voltage conditions.
The ISO7240ADWG4 application field is in industrial applications requiring isolation, such as data communications, process control, industrial PC’s, motor control systems, automated test equipment, and machine control systems. The device is used to ensure the secure transfer of data between different systems that are separated by huge distances and are subject to different types of electrical interference.
