ISTPSP2MBL is an integrated backlight module designed for LED backlight applications. It supports LED backlight arrays up to 10x10 in size. The module includes an integrated driver/controller, which is based on the National Semiconductor Technology Platform, an advanced cost-effective backlight controller with advanced dimming algorithms and integrated power management technologies. It also includes an LED driver, which provides built-in protection and fault management functions to ensure stability and safety of the system.The ISTPSP2MBL module comes equipped with a full suite of features such as pulse width modulation (PWM) dimming, pulse frequency modulation (PFM) dimming, power-on-reset (POR) and timed shutdown, as well as features like integrated current-limiting, temperature control and fault-tolerance.The ISTPSP2MBL module is designed to provide a wide range of backlight options for LCD displays such as ultra-low cost, fast response time, uniform brightness, power saving, and wide color gamut. The module supports various color temperature control options such as white balance control, color balance control and color temperature control.The ISTPSP2MBL module can be integrated with applications such as LCD monitor, LCD TV, portable devices and backlighting display modules. The backlight module can be integrated with a LCD panel or an LCD module to provide a display solution.The core technology of the ISTPSP2MBL module is the National Semiconductor technology platform, an integrated, cost-effective backlight control and LED driver for efficient power management. The driver integrates a high efficiency switching power supply, a controller with advanced dimming algorithms, integrated power management technologies and a protected power switch to provide a reliable, cost-effective, and efficient LED backlight solution.The module supports a range of LED types in terms of current and voltage ratings, as well as thermal management features to ensure that the LED array does not overheat. It supports pulse width modulation (PWM) dimming, pulse frequency modulation (PFM) dimming, power-on-reset (POR), and timed shutdown features, which allow for an optimal dimming result.
