Working Principle

The IT107P optical fiber interface-telecom card consists of two parts: a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter converts the electrical signal into an optical signal, and the receiver converts the optical signal back into an electrical signal.During transmission, the electrical signal is converted into an optical signal with the help of a laser diode or a light-emitting diode. The optical signal is then sent through the fiber optic cable. On the receiver side, the optical signal is converted back into an electrical signal by a photo-detector.The IT107P interface-telecom card also includes an integrated multiplexer/demultiplexer that allows multiple input and output signals to be transmitted over the same fiber optic cable.
