Diodes – Zener – Single – JANTX1N4101C-1 Application Field and Working Principle
Zener diodes belong to the family of semiconductor diodes that are used for regulating voltage in electrical circuits. Although other types of semiconductor diodes can also be used for this purpose, Zener diodes are popular and widely used in various circuits. Zener diodes are also known as voltage reference diodes and are available in various voltage ratings. The JANTX1N4101C-1 is an industrial-grade single Zener diode. It is an ultra-stable, low-noise device suitable for a wide range of standard voltage regulation and power control applications. The device is constructed from an N-type silicon substrate and features a guard ring to reduce the chance of photogenerated electron current (pink noise) and low leakage currents.
