JVN1AF-48V-F

The JVN1AF-48V-F is a high-current, normally-open (NO) power relay designed for a wide variety of applications. It is commonly used for switching loads of up to 2 Amps. The relay has a robust construction and is protected from short circuiting, overvoltage, overtemperature, and dust and water ingress. It features a compact and lightweight design, and is rated to withstand a maximum voltage of 48V.

Working Principle

The JVN1AF-48V-F operates on the electromechanical principle. It is made up of a coil surrounded by a magnetic core, two sets of contacts connected to the coil, and an armature. When power is applied to the coil, it creates a magnetic field around the core. This field then attracts the armature, which in turn causes the contacts to move inwards, closing the circuit and allowing current to flow.

In order to operate the relay, a continuous voltage must be applied to its coil. The voltage required to close the contacts depends on the resistance of the coil, and is typically higher than the voltage required to open the contacts. This is referred to as a “holding voltage”.

The JVN1AF-48V-F is designed for use in a wide range of applications, such as switching motor loads, switching ignition circuits, controlling pumps, fans, and basic alarm systems. It is commonly used in many industrial and automotive applications, and is suitable for use in a variety of hazardous and harsh environments.

Due to its robust construction, the relay is well-suited for use in extreme temperatures, from -40°C to +80°C. It is also suitable for use in high-humidity environments, as it can withstand water jet pressures of up to 3 bar.

The relay is supplied with a socket, and can be easily integrated into existing control systems. It is also available in a variety of voltages, to suit different application requirements.
