The KA258DTF is a dual package, dual differential-input, ultra high-speed precision linear op-amp. Its compact design and high-performance features make it an ideal solution for use in instrumentation applications, such as high-speed signal processing and measurement.The KA258DTF is designed for high precision, high speed bipolar operation with low distortion, low noise, and low power consumption. It is characterized by a wide common-mode range, low offset, and low drift at both low and high input frequency levels. The device also offers wide slew rates and low distortion performance, yielding excellent dynamic accuracy and near zero-input offset. It offers exceptionally low distortion of 0.000007% and high slew rate performance of 10V/μs, making it ideal for low-noise and low-distortion signal processing. In addition, this op-amp has an exceptionally low offset drift of 1μV/°C, making it well suited for precision instrumentation applications requiring accurate and repeatable measurements. The KA258DTF offers three different operating modes. It can be configured as a single-ended amplifier, a dual-input, single-ended amplifier, or a differential amplifier. The device also features adjustable input matching to enable further fine-tuning for maximum accuracy and repeatability.The KA258DTF has a wide supply voltage range of 4.5V to 12V and draws a maximum power of 20mA and a typical supply current of 0.5mA. It is packaged in a small 8-pin plastic DIP package and is operable from-40°C to +125°C.Thanks to its excellent performance characteristics, the KA258DTF is well-suited for use in signal conditioning, signal testing, medical electronics, process control and test equipment, signal processing, and audio-visual applications.
