Data Acquisition - Analog to Digital Converters (ADC) are integrated circuits used to convert analog signals into digital signals. The output is then passed to an 8-bit DAC. The output from the DAC is then passed through to the on-board FPGA which further reduces the noise and quantizes the digitized data to 8-bits monotonically.
