Features
The KIT34978EKEVB supports various devices including the C2000 32-bit Piccolo F28035 & F28069 MCUs, InstaSPIN™ motor control solution with on-board Isolated DC/DC converter and Gate drivers. It supports five peripherals; PWM, eCAP, eQEP, SPIA and UART. Different types of user interface control options available on the platform are; an 8x8 LED Matrix, Cap MCE4 touch sensor and two linear slider Potentiometers. The development board is powered using an external 12V adapter from Texas Instruments with low supply current, providing efficient motor control operation. This board supports various multi-level development tools from Texas Instruments like CodeComposer Studio, ControlSUITE and MotorWare.
Operation principle
The KIT34978EKEVB works with a tailored version of C2000 Piccolo MCUs as the central point for the evaluation of embedded systems.
