The KSZ8462HLI-EVAL board is a laser-cut high-density four-layer circuit board populated with a variety of components, including ICs, discrete transistors, LEDs, diodes, and capacitors. It has been designed to demonstrate and evaluate the features and performance of the Kansas Semiconductor KSZ8462HLI family of 8-bit microcontrollers. The KSZ8462HLI-EVAL board includes a padded area for placement of a large form-factor IC along with a socket for a 400-pin module or other BGA component. The microcontroller features a real-time clock, an integrated DMA controller and four integrated timers. The microcontroller is also supported by several advanced peripherals and interfaces, such as SPI, I²C, CAN, PS/2, UART, USB, and SDIO.The versatility of this microcontroller makes it well suited for a wide range of applications, from automotive to consumer electronics.
