KSZ8721CL A2 is an Ethernet physical layer transceiver that complies with 10Base-T and 100Base-TX standards. It incorporates a complete 10Base-T/100Base-TX physical layer transceiver, allowing transmission speed from 10 Mbps to 100 Mbps. The transceiver supports full-duplex and half-duplex modes via a standard RJ-45 connector.
The physical layer transceiver on the KSZ8721CL A2 is an integrated 128-pin package with an in-built regulator, clock regeneration circuit and analog front-end for receiving, filtering and transmitting the data. The transceiver supports the industry\'s most popular auto-negotiation standards such as IEEE 802.3u (10BASE-T/100BASE-TX) and IEEE 802.3x (full-duplex) as well as emerging standards such as IEEE 802.3ab (1000BASE-T).
