PMIC - Voltage Regulators - Linear
The L4931ABPT25TR is a two-terminal low drop voltage regulator designed to provide a stable output voltage with ultra-low dropout. It has a wide input voltage range of up to 40V and is able to deliver up to 3A output current. It is a three-terminal device built with an integrated pnp transistor, an adjustable voltage reference and threshold, and a series controlled loop.

Working Principle
The L4931ABPT25TR has three terminals: VIN, VOUT and CTRL. VIN is the supply terminal that supplies the inputcurrent to the regulator. VOUT is the voltage output terminal and CTRL is the control terminal. The CTRL terminal is used to adjust the output voltage of the regulator by controlling the pnp transistor.
