The L4936N is a low drop voltage regulator (LDVR) from STMicroelectronics that is generally used to power devices from 2.9V to 5V. The regulator is able to provide up to 2A of current, making it ideal for a variety of applications. It is available in two versions; the L4936N-D and the L4936N-E, which have different maximum output voltages. The typical voltage drop across the regulator is 0.55V.
