The L4931CD33Y is a linear voltage regulator with adjustable voltage regulator, protected by an internal current limit, thermal overload, and short-circuit protection. It is part of a large family of voltage regulators, i.e. 3V, 5V, 12V, 15V and adjustable voltage regulators which are all protected from short-circuit and overload conditions. Its excellent features and performance combine to make it ideal for use in a variety of applications.
The L4931CD33Y is a low dropout voltage regulator suitable for a varietyof applications such as notebook computer, audio/video systems, DC/DC converters, game consoles, and electronic data instruments. It is designed to provide a stable output voltage of 3.3V to an input voltage of up to 36V. The ST L4931CD33Y also features an integrated load switch allowing the load to be disconnected when the voltage level drops below a predetermined level. The L4931CD33Y is a three terminal device with an input, output, and an enabling pin.The regulator is enabled by a voltage level on the ENABLE pin, which shifts the output voltage off the GND plane and onto a VOUT plane that is determined by the IADJ pin voltage.
