The output voltage of the regulator will remain within the specified tolerance even if the load is changed and it has very high accuracy at room temperature. The regulating current through the pass element is controlled by an error amplifier with a constant open loop gain of 100,000 at low frequencies and beyond a certain frequency there is a roll-off. This roll-off frequency can be adjusted by selecting the external components.
