Nowadays, there is an increasing demand for TVS (transient voltage suppressor) diodes as new electronic products are introduced into the market. Such products have become important components in computers, communication devices, automotive electronics, and industrial automation, so the LCE9.0 application field and working principle need to be understood. 

The LCE9.0 is a low-capacitance, low-impedance TVS diode for ESD protection. It is a two-pin the encapsulated dual-diode in a SOT-23 configuration that can be easily placed on the board with automatic tip-laser connections. This mechanism works by providing a path for current to divert to the ground and thus redirect any excess energy away from the system. If the voltage subjected to the diode exceeds its breakdown voltage, the diode will enter a protective state, allowing the current to flow through the terminal of the diode instead of allowing the current direct access to the system. This provides an effective way to stop the destructive effects of ESD. 

The LCE9.0 is suitable for a wide range of applications. Its low-capacitance characteristics make it ideal for protecting high-speed serial bus data line applications. Its low-forward voltage helps to reduce power consumption and reduce the overall space on PCB.
