LCMXO256C-4M100C is an Embedded - FPGAs (Field Programmable Gate Array) device from Lattice Semiconductor. This device is comprised of a 256,000-gate FPGA fabric and an ARM4TDMI-S processor. The processor is a 32-bit processor core optimized for highly efficient embedded applications. The FPGA fabric provides programmable logic, a memory interface, and embedded memory blocks, which enables the development of custom logic that can be embedded and optimized in the processor\'s embedded fabric.The FPGA fabric allows the integration of multiple logic elements, memory elements and I/O devices. These devices can be programmed to process data, react to in-system input signals, and to output complex control signals. The ARM4TDMI-S processor core allows for execution of specialized code and algorithms, which can be optimized to run quickly on the embedded FPGA fabric.The device also offers a rich feature set for embedded applications. The device features non-volatile, reprogrammable Flash memory and flexible I/O connections. The ARM4TDMI-S processor supports a variety of data and instruction busses that allow the processor to access memory and I/O devices. Additionally, the processor provides 8-bit and 16-bit data bus support, as well as 16-bit and 32-bit instruction bus support. The ARM4TDMI-S processor core also provides instruction, data and debug breakpoints, which enable debugging and trace capabilities.
