Working principle:
The LD29300P2M15 linear voltage regulator operates by sensing the difference in voltages between the input and output terminals, regulating the current flow to maintain the output voltage at a constant level. This current flow is regulated by the LM29300P2M15’s two threshold transistors (Q1 and Q2). Upon detecting a drop in the input voltage, the transistors switch on, providing a current path to the output, increasing the output voltage. As the output voltage increases, the threshold transistors decrease their current, slowing the flow of current from the input to the output until it reaches the desired level. At that point, the transistors switch off, curtailing the flow of current and maintaining the output voltage at a constant level.
