The LD112PV12R is a linear regulator that provides improved in-rush current response, higher switching frequency acceptance, and improved Standby Mode operation. Specifically, it is constructed with an input voltage range of 3.3 V to 21 V and an output voltage range of 0.7 V to 15 V. In addition, it offers adjustable soft start, an internal low voltage dropout, temperature monitoring and protection, as well as adjustable overvoltage protection. Furthermore, the LD112PV12R is designed to provide high accuracy, excellent transient response, and low noise performance.

The LD112PV12R is commonly used in automotive and industrial applications. It can be used to provide power for internal systems, such as navigation systems and control systems, as well as systems that require precise input/output, such as medical applications. When the output voltage reaches an unacceptable level, the regulator will shut down to protect the connected system. In a similar fashion, the temperature protection function limits the maximum temperature of the system, thus preventing any potential damage resulting from overheating.

The LD112PV12R offers a variety of features and performance parameters, providing excellent performance and protection in various applications. Its adjustable Soft Start and Shutdown, is particularly helpful when a supply must switch on and off quickly, while still providing an efficient power distribution network.
