The working principle of LE30ABZ-TR linear voltage regulator is to compare the internal reference voltage with the output voltage. In the linear operation mode, the internal circuit of the voltage regulator is basically composed of four parts: protected circuit, reference voltage source, control electric current source and voltage amplifier.

First, the reference voltage source provides a fixed voltage as the reference sample. Then, the control electric current passes through a dozen loop outside the reference voltage source, and the other end connects to the internal negative input pin of the voltage amplifier. The resistance between the two ends of the loop is fixed, thus the output control electric current is fixed. The control electric current is inputted internally to the basepin from the negative pin,making the voltage amplifier into a controllable electric current source. Through this circuit, the voltage between the output pin and the negative pin remains constant, thus the output voltage is stable.

In addition to its sophisticated internal circuit, the LE30ABZ-TR linear voltage regulator also has excellent electrical performance. The operating voltage is in the wide range of 3V to 15V, and the typical output current decreases from 2.5A to 0.5A as the output voltage increases. The on-off input voltage is very low, and the power output impedance is also very low. In addition, the low temperature coefficient and low line step ensure the stability of the output voltage.
