LE88246DLCT is an evaluation module (EVM) designed to facilitate evaluation and design of Ethernet transceivers used within the telecom market. It is a configurable multi-rate Ethernet transceiver with four integrated physical coding sub-layer (PCS) rate modules, allowing users to select any combination of 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps, 1000 Mbps and 10/100/1000 Mbps. The LE88246DLCT can be easily configured to evaluate the performance and timing of Ethernet physical layer devices used within telecom applications such as digital subscriber line (DSL) modems or digital subscriber line access multiplexer (DSLA).

The LE88246DLCT combines the same basic components of a multi-rate 10/100/1000 Mbps transceiver, with the functions of a PCS core, a linear-phase device, a pulse shape filter, a packet tracking FIFO, and a polyphase filter.
