It is also suitable for use in some industrial and telecom control systems. The Fuseholder is available in two sizes, the larger version being 19mm in height and the smaller 11mm in height.

Working Principle

The LFJ600303S uses a simple yet effective clamping system to keep the wires securely in place while allowing easy insertion or removal of the fuse. The Fuseholder consists of a base section made from high quality flame retardant polycarbonate resin, two contact strips which secures the fuse firmly when inserted, and a cable-locking mechanism which keeps the wires securely in place. Each contact strip has a spring loaded lug which when the fuse is inserted, opens and securely hold it in place.

The cable-locking mechanism consists of two clips that fit into grooves on the inside of the base section, and are held securely in place by a locking tab. This ensures that the wires remain in place regardless of the orientation of the Fuseholder. Additionally, the Fuseholder is equipped with an internal fuse stop which prevents accidental disconnection of the fuse when it has been inserted properly.
