The LM140K-12/NOPB voltage regulator is a three-terminal integrated circuit voltage regulator. It features an on-chip trimming resistor to adjust the output voltage, as well as current limiting and thermal shutdown protection circuitry. The output voltage can be adjusted to any value between 1.25V and 12V with the on-chip trimming resistor. When the input voltage is within the device\'s operating range and the output current is below the current limiting threshold, the output voltage will remain at the set value. If the output current exceeds the device\'s current limit or the junction temperature exceeds 160°C, the device will shut down and the output voltage will drop to zero.
