LM2731YEVAL is an evaluation board designed specifically for DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS. It is designed to easily evaluate and test the performance of the LM2731, the latest high-efficiency, lightweight, DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS, in the laboratory environment. The evaluation board provides the necessary features needed to evaluate the performance of the LM2731 in terms of its maximum efficiency, rated output current, output ripple, transient response, and loading conditions. This evaluation board contains a wide range of features which enable it to reduce time-to-market and simplify the evaluation process. The board was designed as a plug-and-play system with a single-point power connection. The board also has a built-in full-wave rectifier bridge, enabling users to evaluate the efficiency of the rectification process. The board’s compactness and versatility make it possible to evaluate any combination of features or parameters. The LM2731YEVAL software package allows users to monitor the performance of the system in real-time. The software\'s graphical user interface provides a number of graphical displays, including efficiency curves, output current, output voltage, and output ripple. The user can also access numerous other parameters, such as the various internal control and protection voltages. The LM2731YEVAL also includes a range of pulse width modulation (PWM) techniques to enable efficient speed control of the switching elements. The board supports adjustable SRM (Selective Reduction of Clamp Voltage) and Pinf (Pinp) techniques. In addition, the board provides twopins for triggering and monitoring PWRGOOD status. The LM2731YEVAL includes a power MOSFET driver for driving two N-channel and two P-channel MOSFETs. The MOSFET driver can be configured depending on the switching frequency. The board provides three screening tests which can be used to validate the MOSFET performance at different switching frequencies. The LM2731YEVAL board also features an over-temperature warning system with adjustable temperature setpoint. This feature helps protect the board from damage caused by thermal runaway. Additionally, the board includes short-circuit and overcurrent protection circuitry, as well as various other protection features. Thus, the LM2731YEVAL is an ideal evaluation board for testing and validating the performance of the LM2731. It offers a great range of features and allows for quick and easy evaluation of the system in the laboratory environment.
