It consists of a high-side MOSFET and a low-side MOSFET, an input voltage regulator (VIN), an error amplifier, and a fixed frequency oscillator. The high-side and low-side MOSFETs are connected in series. The output voltage (VOUT) is determined by a voltage divider, which is connected to the output pin (VFB) and the reference voltage (VREF).The operating principle of the LM2760M5/NOPB is simple and straightforward. It firstly compares the output voltage of equal-value resistors (which is proportional to the output voltage) to the reference voltage. Then, the comparator in the error amplifier will output a signal depending on if the output voltage is lower or higher than the reference.
