The LM2852X-2.5EVAL evaluation board consists of a precise analog-to-digital converter (ADC) procedure, with a 24-bit resolution, which is used to measure the various DC/DC & AC/DC parameters such as peak voltage, peak current, ripple voltage, and ripple current. In addition, a 12-bit precision analog-to-digital converter (ADC) is used to measure the output voltage of power supply, while a 8-bit precision digital-to-analog converter (DAC) is used to control the duty cycle of the switching power supply. The evaluation board also includes a 2-channel differential current sensing, an integrated temperature sensor, and a serial interface.
The LM2852X-2.5EVAL evaluation board also comes with a GUI design tool-box for analyzing the system performance. This tool-box provides automatic design and operation of test parameters for the various power supplies being evaluated, to derive the performance of the switching power supplies. Additionally, the board offers firmware and software interface for controlling various parameters of the switching power supplies, as well as for monitoring their output performance. The GUI design tool-box also provides essential and useful resources for enhanced development and testing.
