Working Principle

The LM3352MTCX-2.5 works by continuously converting input voltage to the required output voltage. It achieves this by using a buck switching regulator and a control circuit to monitor and control the output voltage and current. A MOSFET switch is connected to an inductor and the output capacitor, and is used to switch the current in order to regulate the output voltage.

The output voltage of the LM3352MTCX-2.5 can be adjusted by controlling the duty cycle of the switch, that is, the time the switch is closed relative to the time it is open. Additionally, it features a fixed frequency pwm control circuit and a thermal shutdown circuit which provides short-circuit, over-voltage, over-temperature, and over-current protection.
