Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) are very important components of electronic devices in today’s world. They are used for various purposes in electronic devices, for example charging batteries, controlling power and providing regulatory voltages. PMICs come in many different designs and each design focuses on a particular task or combination of tasks. In this article, we will be focusing on the LM3526M-H device, which is a power distribution switch, load driver.
The LM3526M-H device is a PMIC that provides an efficient system power distribution solution in power sensitive systems. It contains two independent power switches and six logic-controlled load drivers. The device provides over-current and over-temperature protection and is used in numerous portable and embedded designs.
The first switch is a high-side power switch with integrated N-Channel MOSFET. This switch can be used to turn on and off two or four voltage regulators.
