LM3552SD/NOPB

PMIC - LED Drivers is a type of Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMICs) used to provide precisely regulated regulated power to light emitting diodes (LEDs). The LM3552SD/NOPB is a highly efficient, low profile shift register output current regulator for driving high power LEDs. It allows for constant or pulse-width modulation (PWM) current regulation at up to 96% efficiency, with a power supply voltage as low as 4.5 volts.

The LM3552SD/NOPB works by using a synchronous PFM control loop to regulate the output current to a targeted value. This is done by sensing the output voltage across an external resistor and feeding that information back to the control loop. The output current is determined by a reference voltage and the series pass MOSFET.The LM3552SD/NOPB has an input voltage range of 4.5V to 27V and provides a constant LED output with a maximum voltage of up to 60V.

The LM3552SD/NOPB includes under-voltage/over-voltage fault protection, open/short LED protection, and over-temperature protection. This helps to ensure proper operation under a variety of conditions and provides protection for both LEDs and the controller.
