Evaluation Boards - LED Drivers

The LM3646EVM from Texas Instruments is an evaluation board for the LM3646 family of high efficiency, single-channel LED drivers. This evaluation board can be used to evaluate the LF3646 as well as a number of other LED drivers in the same family. This board helps engineers quickly evaluate the performances of their desired driver, such as the LM3646, or to use the board as a development platform for their own customized LED driver requirements.

The LM3646 is a fully-compliant, single-channel LED driver supplying up to 35W of output power. It features a wide LPOS output voltage ranging from 8V to 38V, along with a programmable current operating range of 20mA to 500mA, which makes it suitable for driving a wide range of loads from low- to high-power LEDs. This makes the LM3646 extremely flexible and suitable for a variety of applications. It also integrated a constant ON-OFF current limiter to protect against unexpected load short circuits.
