This device is suitable for various applications such as point of load (POL) and secondary power converters, telecom power systems, and battery powered portable systems.</p> <p>The LM3691TLX-1.2/NOPB consists of two main sections: the main control IC and the MOSFET integrated power stage. The main control IC contains error amplifiers, transmitters, and an adjustable voltage reference. It also features an internal low-side power MOSFET and an adjustable soft-start time.</p> <p>The main control IC is designed to provide accurate and consistent regulation of output voltage with minimum stress on the power MOSFET. Its internal compensation and finite-state operation (FSO) auto-switching circuitry enable peak efficiency and superior transient response. The MOSFET integrated power stage provides excellent power efficiency and low power dissipation.</p> <p>The LM3691TLX-1.2/NOPB works on a fixed frequency of 1.2 MHz so that it can switch more quickly than other switch mode regulators to reduce power loss, resulting in improved system power efficiency.
