The LM4682SQX/NOPB is a high-performance, low-Phase Noise amplifier, specifically designed for audio applications. This unique product provides output and power stages using a differential pair topology. It is well suited for use in low distortion, low noise audio applications where a high-current output and low supply voltage is desired.The LM4682SQX/NOPB is designed to operate over a wide range of supply voltage, from a single 3.3V supply to an 18V supply. The highly configurable gain of this product provides potential solutions for a wide range of applications, from guitar preamplification to general line and headphone amplification. The gain and passband response of the LM4682SQX/NOPB can be easily adjusted to provide the desired results for any audio application.The LM4682SQX/NOPB contains two power stages, which are based on a differential pair topology. The first stage is a differential pair amplifier, capable of providing a high output voltage swing while maintaining extremely low distortion. The second stage is an output stage using a bipolar transistor as the follower, which provides a high current capability. Both stages are optimized to minimize the output noise and distortion, resulting in extremely low-Phase Noise performance. The output stage is capable of driving a wide range of loads, from low impedance headphones to high impedance loudspeakers.The LM4682SQX/NOPB also features a low-Threshold protection circuit to protect the output stage from over current conditions. This feature protects the LM4682SQX/NOPB from damage due to a shorted load.The gain of the LM4682SQX/NOPB can be easily adjusted using external resistors. There is a maximum gain of 17dB and a minimum gain of 0dB. The supply voltage of the LM4682SQX/NOPB can be adjusted from a single 3.3V supply up to an 18V supply. The device is fully compatible with standard audio applications and is suitable for a wide range of audio signals, from low-frequency audio to high-frequency music.In addition to being an excellent choice for audio applications, the LM4682SQX/NOPB can also be used in other applications that require a low-noise and high-current amplifier.
