The LM49352RLX/NOPB is an integrated audio amplifier circuit developed by Texas Instruments, specifically tailored for portable audio applications. It is 2.28 Volt rail-to-rail audio amplifier with integrated charge pump for independent rail-to-rail control. Its applications include cell phones, portable RADIOS and MP3 players, and digital hearing aids.

The integrated charge pump from this amplifier consists of 1.2V and 5V voltage reference inputs. It also has eight output pins with outputs to charge pumps, a gain select pin, a reset pin, digital mute pin, and a power supply pin. This allows for flexible, independent control of voltage rails for improved overall audio performance.

The LM49352RLX provides maximum output power of 86mW at 10% THD with supply voltage of 1.9V, and total harmonic distortion (THD) of 0.01%. With only a few external components, this IC is capable of delivering excellent audio performance with low power consumption rates.

In addition to the power stage, the LM49352RLX also contains an audio signal chain that consists of a headphone amplifier, an amplifier for protection against capacitive load, and a mute circuit. The headphone amplifier is capable of driving up to 40mA of into a 16Ω impedance. The capacitive load amplifier ensures that no audio is lost when the system is connected to a low impedance load, such as a headphone jack. The mute circuit allows for the muting of the amplifier in case of overcurrent or other fault scenarios.
