The LMC6062AIM is a precision, quad, low power, rail-to-rail input and output, CMOS operational amplifier designed for instrumentation and other demanding audio applications. Widely used in various applications such as sensor interfaces, active filters, sample and hold circuits, data acquisition. This amplifier’s simple construction and highly reliable performance make it a great choice for any system.

This amplifier has a high common mode rejection ratio and can be driven from supplies as low as 3 V. It also offers low power consumption and is specified for operation over the temperature range of -40 °C to 85 °C.

Working Principle

The LMC6062AIM is based on the classic OPAMP architecture which is capable of amplifying both ac and dc signals. This amplifier has four independent operational amplifiers contained in one package.

The input signal is passed into the amplifier through two inputs, one positive and one negative input. These inputs receive the electrical signals from the external source and are the source of signal processing in the amplifier.

The signal is then amplified with the use of a differential amplifier. The output of the differential amplifier passes through a voltage gain stage, where it is then further amplified and the outputted from the amplifier.

This amplifier also provides a power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) in order to reduce any power supply-based noise that may be introduced into the signal.
