The LMC6084IM is a quad, precision, low offset, low-voltage CMOS op amp. It is designed to operate from single or dual supplies of +2.7V to +7V while consuming very low quiescent supply current of only 750μA/amplifier. Its internal wafer-level trimming ensures a wide range of excellent performance parameters. The input offset voltage is maximally 3μV and the input offset drift is maximally 0.025μV/°C, while the input common-mode voltage range goes up to 0.7V beyond both supply rails. Other superb parameters include very low distortion (0.001%), and excellent ripple rejection.
The LMC6084IM is ideal for applications such as photodiode amplifiers, thermocouple receivers, 4-20mA current loop transducers, strain gauge amplifiers, patient monitoring equipment, programmable logic controllers, single supply instrumentation amplifiers and other precision linear applications.
The LMC6084IM’s high performance and low quiescent current make it well suited for battery powered instruments and portable applications. Additionally, the devices feature a fT of 75MHz, making them suitable for high-speed data acquisition systems.
The LMC6084IM features an open-loop gain of 600V/mV and low drift of 1.1μV/°C for the G=1 configuration. It has rail-to-rail output capability allowing them to swing within 1.5V of both supply rails. These parts also have low power consumption and are available in both 4-lead TSOP and low profile 8-lead MSOP packages.
The LMC6084IM draws very low quiescent current of only 750μA/amplifier while delivering a guaranteed CMRR of 110dB.
