Working Principle of LMC6772QMMX/NOPB

The main function of this device is to compare two analogue signals and provide its results in the form of a single-ended or complementary output. The comparator circuitry inside the device consists of two sections—the Input Stage and the Output Stage. In the Input Stage, the two input signals (IN1, IN2) are pre-amplified and provided to the comparator which compares their magnitude. The comparator circuitry also contains an offset voltage which serves to offset the voltage comparison between the two inputs. The Output Stage consists of logic circuitry that produces the output of the device. Depending on the relationship between the two input signals, the output state is either ‘high’ or ‘low’ with a normal recovery time.
