The LMG1205HBEVM is a full-featured power converter evaluation module with the H-Bridge power stage module for driving induction motors. The LMG1205HBEVM contains a H-Bridge power stage module based on the LMG3420 and MC330141 device, capable of dealing with up to 10A peak current and 6.5A continuous. The board features a gate driver of 6A peak current with signal isolation circuitry on both sides to ensure that the isolated side is floating from the ground. Furthermore, the board is equipped with an MCU and two level shifters to provide up to four PWM outputs and two analog inputs used for feedback purposes. Also included is an optional thermistor that allows users to measure the temperature of the junction of the power stage module.

The LMG1205HBEVM features a wide input voltage range from 6V to 100V, making it suitable for wide range of applications. The board has three-phase motor control outputs with a speed range up to 16kHz, allowing the board to be used in high performance applications. The board also features a design with excellent temperature and EMI performance, ensuring that it can be used in various industrial and automotive applications.

The LMG1205HBEVM has the same user interface as the LMG1205H-Gate Driver board. The board’s user interface contains power section configuration jumpers, two RS-232 serial connectors for communication with the controller board, as well as digital I/O pins for user programming. The board also has provisions for connecting an external thermistor to measure the junction temperature of the power stage module.
