Working Principle

The LMV341MGX/NOPB utilizes an advanced folded cascode technology to offer an ultra-low power, rail-to-rail output stage. This allows for an output voltage to operate over an input voltage range of 0 to VCC without any clip detection circuitry. The device has a very wide input common mode range of 0 V to VCC-1.5 V and a high open-loop gain of 50 dB (at 1 kHz). Its high open-loop gain and low offset voltage enable it to perform with high accuracy over a wide temperature range.

The LMV341MGX/NOPB has an input stage consisting of two voltage amplifying transistors, with differential inputs. The internal gain is set by an internal resistance, which is implemented by a trans-impedance amplifier. The output stage operates in a rail-to-rail mode and consists of a transistor-level stage and a MOSFET current mirror.
