The LMV393M8-13 is a high-performance, low-power comparator ideal for a variety of analog and digital applications. The device operates on an ultra-low supply current, allowing it to be used in portable and battery-powered systems where power needs to be conserved.

The LMV393M8-13 is a single-channel, open-collector output, fast-response linear comparator. It has an input voltage range of 0 to VCC and operates from a single +4.5 V to +30 V supply. The device features an active-high, open-collector output voltage of 0.9 V with a maximum sink current of 15 mA.

The comparator features a hysteretic comparator with an external resistor and an on-chip, hysteretic voltage representing the external resistor. With the hysteretic comparator, the output state is determined by the input voltage level and is maintained as long as the voltage is within the hysteretic limits. This eliminates false triggering of the output due to noise or rapid changes in the input voltage.

The LMV393M8-13 provides two comparison modes, including a single-input, single-output comparator and a dual-input, dual-output comparator. The single-input, single-output version allows for a single, low-noise reference voltage to be used to drive multiple comparator output stages. The dual-input, dual-output version allows for one input voltage to drive multiple outputs with hysteretic comparison to the other input voltage.

The LMV393M8-13 is suitable for a variety of analog and digital applications, including voltage and current sensing, logic level sensing, and temperature sensing. It can also be used in instrumentation, medical, consumer and industrial applications. The device is ideal for applications that require a rapid response time, low power consumption and high output impedance.
