Linear Comparators are an important class of integrated circuit (IC) chips used to accurately compare two analog or digital input signals. The LMV393MM/NOPB is such an IC, and it has a wide range of potential applications.

The LMV393MM/NOPB features an open-drain output, allowing the output to be wired to one or more loads. With this type of configuration, the output can be used to drive several devices simultaneously, including LEDs, power transistors, or even transistors used to drive a motor.
