RF Evaluation and Development Kits, Boards are used to assess, validate, and evaluate the performance of radio frequency (RF) systems or components, such as transceivers, ADCs/DACs, antennas, or amplifiers. They provide designers with a platform to quickly test concepts and speeds up the transition from concept to a finished product. The LMX2595EVM (Evaluation Module) is a development board that is used to assess and demonstrate the performance of the LMX2595 digital synthesizer and VCO.

The LMX2595EVM was designed to make the evaluation of the LMX2595 digital synthesizer and VCO junction easier. Using a low-cost, single-frequency clock source, the LMX2595 is able to synthesize any output frequency within its range without the need to replace the reference oscillator. The EVM provides designers with the necessary components to evaluate the LMX2595 in a wide range of applications and under different conditions.

The LMX2595EVM uses a plug-and-play approach where all the required components are combined on a single board.
