The LMZ14202EXTEVAL/NOPB is an advanced evaluation board for switching power supply (SMPS) applications. It is part of the DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS category, providing a platform for the evaluation, development, and testing of advanced technology for current and future power systems. It also offers tools to help system designers to create and refine high-efficiency DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS.The LMZ14202EXTEVAL/NOPB provides a wealth of features for those interested in power conversion. The user can then set the output voltage, current limit, switching frequency, and other parameters.The LMZ14202EXTEVAL/NOPB can also be used to generate an external pulse-width modulation (PLC) signal, which can be used to control the switching speed of the power switch to generate the desired output voltage and current limit, which are set with the software. This can help the designer achieve greater efficiency and better performance from their SMPS.The LMZ14202EXTEVAL/NOPB also features built-in Thermal Protection feature, which helps protect the SMPS from thermal overload, power overload, and overvoltage conditions.
