The LP2951CMX-3.0 is a low-power CMOS voltage regulator, which is widely used for its excellent performance, small size and full load temperature range. It is equipped with a highly advanced error amplification network, a unique topology and low gate charge MOSFET switches. The LP2951CMX-3.0 is suitable for use in a wide range of applications, from consumer electronics to automotive and industrial applications.

The LP2951CMX-3.0 is designed to control the output voltage within a particular range. The input voltage typically ranges from 1.6 V to 5.5 V, and the output voltage range is adjustable from 0.4 V to 3.3 V. A pair of voltage sense input pins are provided for differential sensing of the output voltage. The output voltage is regulated by an error amplifier, whose output is connected to an internal LDO and MOSFET switch. When the output voltage drops below the preset value, the error amplifier will increase the error signal. This will cause the MOSFET switch to open and allow the internal LDO to bring the output voltage up to the pre-determined value. The LP2951CMX-3.0 has excellent transient response characteristics and high output voltage accuracy (±1%). Moreover, it has very low supply current, low quiescent current and low output noise.
