The LP2992AILD-1.8/NOPB is a low-dropout regulator (LDO) for consumer and portable applications, with extremely low power consumption. It is suitable for a wide range of PMIC - Voltage Regulators - Linear applications such as mobile phones, digital cameras, PDAs, MP3 players, etc. It has a low quiescent current of typically 20uA and a high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) of typically 80dB. The LP2992AILD-1.8/NOPB can operate from a wide input voltage range of 1.5V to 6.5V and its output voltage is adjustable from 0.8V to 3.3V.
The LP2992AILD-1.8/NOPB is based on a hysteretic architecture and has a fixed 1.8V voltage reference. The device has a maximum output current of 1A and a minimum drop-out voltage of typically 0.1V.
