LP3944ISQEV is a 3.3V, 1A inductive step-down DC/DC converter with integrated FET and is intended to drive a variety of common LEDs. Its internal power stage (with dual N-channel MOSFET, Schottky and a high-performance inductor) provide timesaving features such as current limiting, short circuit and thermal protection. The pulse width modulated control scheme minimizes conduction loss, improves efficiency and maximizes LED brightness.
