LP3986BL-2929 is a low power, 100mA low dropout (LDO) linear regulator which is suitable for varied applications. The device comes with typical dropout voltage of 200mV, just like the other linear voltage regulators. It is available in the industry standard 3-Lead SOT-89 Package and also in surface mount TSSOP-8 package.This linear voltage regulator provides very low output noise with short-circuit protection, Thermal protection and over-current protection against short-circuit conditions. The device also provides reverse battery protection and reverse current protection, which makes it very reliable and safe for the applications.
