The LP3961ESX-1.8 (hereafter referred to as LP3961) is an efficient and highly-integrated, easy-to-use linear voltage regulator designed for use in applications where low power consumption and high efficiency are important. It is a 3-terminal/direct current (DC/DC) regulator, with an adjustable output voltage from 1.210V to 1.8V and provides up to 1A output current. The device features an input voltage range from 4.5V to 16V and is designed for fast transient applications. It is available in a SOT-23-5L package and all external connections utilize the SOT-23-6L pinout.

Working Principle
