LP5996SD-3033 is the latest advanced single-channel low dropout (LDO) voltage regulator developed by Linear Technology which provides a high stability, great dynamic response, and high accuracy. The LP5996SD-3033 provides an exact level of voltage stability by using an integrated precision bandgap reference and an ultralow noise high current drive capability. It is a superior solution for demanding applications such as automotive, consumer electronics, power management, and computing systems.The LP5996SD-3033 is a 3A low dropout voltage regulator that is designed to meet the stringent power requirements of challenging applications. It utilizes an ultra-low output voltage threshold (from 0.180V to 4.25V), low temperature coefficient (from -50mV/°C to +75mV/°C) and high output accuracy (± 0.5%) to ensure applications requiring high precision and stability. The LP5996SD-3033 has several features that enable it to be used in a wide range of applications. Firstly, it features an advanced over-voltage protection (from 10V to 6V) and an over-current protection (from 25mOhms to 10mOhms) which provide exceptional protection to the device. Secondly, it has an thermal shutdown and a power-on reset in case of a faults status.
