LSA1A-1B Application Field and Working Principle
Application Field
The LSA1A-1B belongs to the Snap Action, Limit Switches category. It is a long-life switch with fireproof shape, SCR type, direct acting and silent action features. It is ideal for various applications, such as photoelectric switches with either a clock or a direct current in the component, pressure switches for controlling high-speed machines, safety switches for controlling washing machines, and spot welding machines. It is also used in various industries to equilibrate and stabilize the movement of the circuits.
Working Principle
The LSA1A-1B using a contact element as a base, by arranging several pieces of this contact element in such a way that they rotate to switch the released current through them. It has an adjustable actuator, which makes use of a controlled break-make principle. When energized the actuator pulls the contact element towards a contact point and holds it in place. This contact holds the circuit closed. When the power is removed, the actuator contracts and pushes the contact element away from the contact point and separating them. This disconnects the circuit. The contact stays open until a new cycle is initiated.
