LSB1A-1B is a new type of snap action, limit switch developed by Limetech Corporation. It is most widely used in industrial automation and machine control systems, mainly to detect the position of an object in a system. The LSB1A-1B consists of a mechanical switch and a stationary contact. When the switch is operated, the contact moves between its two positions. This movement closes or opens a circuit through the contacts of the switch, thereby making or breaking the electrical connection. In position switch applications, the movement of the switch is acted upon or initiated by the position of a physical object, such as a lever, a gear, a plunger, or a cam. This switch is capable of detecting a wide range of position ranges, making it well suited for either high or low speed applications.

The LSB1A-1B is designed for multipole switching applications, allowing it to be used in both AC and DC applications. It can handle currents up to 0.6A and voltage up to 125V. It has a mechanical life of up to 10 million operation cycles, and an electrical life of up to 200,000 operation cycles. The contact switching is positive with snap action, meaning it produces an audible “click” when operated. This makes it suitable for fast, repeatable operation. The switch is rated up to IP67, making it dust-proof and water-resistant.

In addition to its rugged construction, the LSB1A-1B features safety features including a double-break system that prevents direct and indirect contact between the terminals.
